Cleo Restaurant

I am a hug fan of Cleo, not only do I live within walking distance of this incredible Mediterranean tapas-style restaurant, but it really is mouthwatering and decadent. I could go on and on about how much I love this place, but instead I’ll just list my menu favorites…

Tuna Tartar: The absolute best tuna tartar I’ve  ever had hands down. Make sure you ask them to mix it for you.
Hanger Steak: Not normally the best cut of meat, but whatever they do, they hit it, every time. The taste and texture are unmatched. And the fingerling potatoes are a strait up aphrodisiac. They’re so good, I just start pointing to my plate speechless.
Brussel Sprouts:  Flash fried with almonds and seasoning this signature dish is shockingly good, just make sure you don’t wipe your hands on your clothes as they’re sure to be covered in oil.
Grilled Octopus: Octopus is easy to fu*k up, but I’ve been going to Cleo since it opened about two years ago, and I’ve never had a bad experience, even with the octopus. The texture is never chewy, always just-right and the sauce is a perfect yet unexpected tart compliment..

The ambiance in Cleo is clean but eclectic (All the place settings are different and vintage) and romantic (A giant portrait of Cleopatra greats you as you are seated, and oversized decomposing mirrors reflect the soft candlelight). The service is one of the best among restaurants in Los Angeles and the Redbury Hotel which nestles this gem of a restaurant has it’s own charm… The second floor of the hotel features a sexy lounge called The Library Bar, which features specialty drinks and live music on wednesdays; it includes a huge outdoor seating area that somehow transports you out of hollywood into a swanky very “New York” feeling space, and the clientele features everyone from Adrian Grenier to Miranda Kerr. If you are in LA, you must make a point to eat at Cleo and possibly stay at the Redbury. (I also heard a rumor that the hotel rooms have a stripper pole in every room! Fun!) … Look at me, I went on and on about it anyway… I can’t help it.

Oh and if you’re wearing black, be sure to ask for a black linen so the cute white cotton linens don’t lint all over you- just ask for the cloths they use to wrap champagne and white wine with; unless you cary a lint roller in your bag at all times.

Anyway, Roger and I had an amazing dinner with close friends at this, one of our favorite restaurants, and I was able to wear out my Fashion Addict for Omen Eye Trench coat! Alana of Omen Eye is amazing. The new styles this year have my heart melting, and my wallet emptying. I asked Alana at Omen eye to collaborate with me and make me a studded sleeved trench coat like this Burberry Studded Sleeve Trench. She did an amazing and perfect job, and I already have ideas for some custom Coachella shorts :) If you’de like to purchase this Fashion Addict for Omen Eye Trench Coat please email me at Kierfashionaddict@gmail.com, otherwise for custom studded shorts or otherwise, contact Alana Directly at OmenEye@gmail.com, and be sure to check out her website!

P.S. Thank you so much Omen Eye, I am completely obsessed with my new Burberry inspired trench!!!

With love from Hollywood,
Kier

  1. I love what Omen Eye did with your coat! It looks amazing and like 10000000 dollars! I might have to order a pair of their shorts- they are fabulous! And PS- about your last post (I think it was the last one)–I love your hair no matter what color. When I first started following you, you were dark and I thought you were so stunning and then when you went back to blonde I was like OMG she is equally as stunning! you pull off both so well!! Love how you are so adventurous with everything!
